(CNA) Certified Nurses Aide

Axiom Gardens of Flora, a skilled nursing and long-term care facility, is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team in Flora, Illinois. As a CNA at Axiom Gardens of Flora, you will provide exceptional care to our residents, promoting dignity and independence while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, mobility, and feeding
• Help residents transfer, reposition, and ambulate safely using appropriate equipment
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff
• Support residents' emotional and social well-being by engaging them in activities and conversation
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and infection control protocols
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements:

• Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with appropriate equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate attitude and dedication to quality resident care
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
