About
Experience in mechanical engineering design, analysis, and testing.
Knowledge of materials science and the selection of materials appropriate to mechanical systems and structural applications.
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools) for mechanical design and documentation.
Experience in designing mechanical components such as enclosures, mounts, and assemblies for ruggedized environments.
Familiarity with thermal management and heat dissipation for mechanical and electronic systems.
Ability to analyze stress, vibration, and mechanical fatigue to ensure component/system integrity.
Hands-on ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify solutions.
Experience contributing to engineering documentation for a technical data package, including drawings, test procedures, and specifications.
Ability to read and understand basic electrical and mechanical drawings.
Experience working with manufacturing processes such as machining, 3D printing, or sheet metal fabrication.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
