Hardware Test Technician
Location:
Austin, TX
Pay Range: Monday - Friday 8 hours
Shift: $20.00-$30.00 hr.
What's the Job?
Execute hardware and system-level test plans on robotics and embedded platforms.
Configure and operate Linux-based test environments, with a preference for Ubuntu.
Run automated and manual test procedures, ensuring accurate collection and logging of test data.
Build and maintain test fixtures, cables, and mechanical assemblies as needed for testing activities.
Perform diagnostics using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers to troubleshoot hardware issues.
What's Needed?
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience as a test technician or in hardware validation roles.
Proficiency in using Linux for hardware bring-up and testing, preferably with Ubuntu.
Strong understanding of basic electronics and electromechanical systems.
Experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
