About
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Utilize script fields or Visual Studio Code for front-end development to enhance user interfaces within the ServiceNow platform.
Integrate third-party applications using SOAP and REST APIs to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
Participate in the solution architecture process to design scalable and efficient systems.
Implement CI/CD practices to streamline deployment processes and improve software quality.
Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow applications, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Provide admin support with the Service Now platform and associated systems
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to ServiceNow development.
Qualifications:
Four+ years' experience working in ServiceNow development, App Engine (scoped applications) development, Portal development, system integration with ServiceNow.
Four+ years' experience developing process improvements.
Experience working with Agile project methods is preferred.
ServiceNow Administrator, Developer, or ITIL certifications are preferred.
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integration.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
Strong knowledge of solution architecture principles and practices.
Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools for continuous integration.
Background in systems engineering is preferred.
Knowledge of threat intelligence concepts is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
