Summary
The QA Technician is responsible for performing quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure products meet established standards. This role involves conducting inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in working within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities Perform tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including test records and inspection reports. Collaborate with quality engineers, production teams, and supervisors to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Follow established quality guidelines and procedures in a cGMP-regulated environment. Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Support daily production schedules and quality goals through effective teamwork and communication. Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related field. Experience working in a cGMP environment. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS). Strong documentation, communication, and digital literacy skills. High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Use of PPE and adherence to chemical hygiene standards required.
