Utilize advanced monitoring tools and processes to oversee network infrastructure, monitor the performance and availability of managed services and systems across multiple exchange points, and ensure optimal performance
Perform day to day maintenance, fixes, configuration corrections, software and hardware updates, and deployments
Adhere to system and operational reporting obligations
Operate and maintain the privileged access solutions
Maintain continuous verification of failover processes and disaster recovery procedures
Operate and maintain hardware upgrade process and procedures
Update and maintain any software builds applicable to deployed equipment
Enact change management for the solution
Operate and maintain existing incident management processes
Keep firmware, software updates and patches up to date for equipment
Support the design, analysis, planning, modification and maintenance of the network and network components supporting data, voice and/or audio communication activities
Support analysis of short/long term capacity needs for switching, routing transmission and signaling
Conducts testing of network systems
Support the evaluation of new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and two (2) years relevant experience supporting a large network infrastructureAdditional experience can be considered in lieu of degreeRequired Security Clearance:Active TS/SCIRequired Skills and Experience:Experience required with: Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP); Access Control Lists; Layer 2 Switching; Spanning Tree; Packet Analysis; SPINE-LEAF architectureExperience with the following is a plus: Arista switches; Palo Alto Firewalls; TAP and network visibility (i.e. Gigamon, NetScout); SD-WAN and Spine-Leaf Architecture; working with VLANs and VRFs; configuring IPSEC tunnels; and troubleshooting routing issuesWorking knowledge of SD-WAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Virtual Private Network devicesUnderstanding of TCP/IP in regard to routing and subnettingCapable of supporting TACACS+ on Cisco ISE and ISE CubeRequired Certifications:IAT Level II required (Sec +), CCNA/CCNP.
