About
* Perform quality inspections for incoming materials, in-process production, and final product shipments * Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), control plans, and inspection criteria * Monitor product quality metrics, including yield and defect rates, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis
Testing & Analysis
* Plan and execute electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing for ESS packs and components * Lead reliability and lifecycle testing at the system level * Analyze test data and defects; implement corrective actions and generate detailed reports
Customer Quality Management
* Manage customer complaints, including root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) * Support customer audits and maintain clear, timely communication on quality issues * Provide technical support for field issues, including return material authorization (RMA) processes
Quality Systems & Audit Management
* Support and maintain compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 * Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits * Maintain quality documentation, including manuals, procedures, and records
Supplier Quality Management
* Evaluate, qualify, and audit suppliers to ensure consistent quality performance * Monitor incoming material quality and collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions * Ensure quality compliance in outsourced manufacturing and component sourcing
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or a related field * 2-4 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing, preferably in battery or ESS industries * Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, 8D, SPC, MSA, 5 Whys, Fishbone) * Experience with inspection and testing systems (e.g., LIMS, MES, ERP) * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills * Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Korean (written and verbal) * Hands-on experience with battery pack or ESS quality control * Understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Power Conversion Systems (PCS) * Experience working with global customers and international regulatory standards * Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or ISO-related credentials
