*About the Role*
The Technical Support role is the first line of technical assistance for Biovate Hygienics customers, field engineers and account managers, focused on commercial dishwashers, laundry equipment and the chemical dosing systems that connect to them.
Operating from the Biovate offices, the post-holder resolves customer issues remotely by phone, video call and messaging, supports field-based engineers and account managers with technical queries on site, and provides installation and set-up guidance to UK and international customers.
This role is central to delivering a fast, knowledgeable and credible technical service that protects customer uptime, supports the field team and enables continued growth in the hospitality sector.
*In this role you will*
* *Be the go-to technical expert* — provide first-line remote support to customers, field engineers and account managers on commercial dishwashers, laundry machines and chemical dosing systems (Seko, Brightwell and BrightLogic)
* *Resolve issues remotely* — diagnose and walk customers through faults via phone and video call, covering dosing rate adjustments, water pressure issues, wiring queries and equipment programming in plain, accessible language
* *Support the field team* — act as a trusted technical reference point for engineers and account managers out on site, finding wiring diagrams, manual guidance and dosing set-up information at pace
* *Extend our international reach* — provide online technical support to Biovate's international customers, including laundry installation guidance and BrightLogic software set-up
* *Keep knowledge sharp and feed it forward* — stay current as new equipment and software is introduced, and share recurring fault patterns and customer insights with engineering, product and account management teams
*What we're looking for*
* *Commercial equipment knowledge* — solid, hands-on understanding of commercial dishwashers, washing machines and/or chemical dosing systems; Seko, Brightwell or BrightLogic experience is a strong advantage
* *Remote support confidence* — proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues by phone and video call, translating complex detail into clear, practical guidance customers can follow
* *Strong communicator* — fluent English, a natural people person, and able to build rapport quickly with busy hospitality customers and colleagues alike
* *Practical and self-motivated* — comfortable with hands-on, problem-solving work and driven to build a long-term career in a growing business
* *Bonus points for* — experience in hospitality, hygiene or field engineering; additional languages; or a background in technical helpdesk or service support
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
