About

We're seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team and lead the design and development of innovative electromechanical systems and manufacturing solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong expertise in machinery design, tooling development, and SolidWorks in a PDM-controlled environment. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical systems for production and manufacturing applications Create detailed designs for tooling, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures Develop, validate, and improve machinery and mechanical systems related to energy transmission, controls, hydraulics, plastics, robotics, and manufacturing equipment Perform concept development, prototyping, verification, and validation activities Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, suppliers, and quality teams to support product development and manufacturing transfer Recommend technology and process improvements focused on safety, performance, efficiency, and cost reduction Lead or support engineering projects from concept through implementation Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members Work independently with limited supervision while driving projects to completion Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME preferred) Minimum 5 years of mechanical design engineering experience Strong experience in: Electromechanical machinery design Tooling, dies, molds, jigs, and fixture design SolidWorks CAD design environment PDM (Product Data Management) systems Experience supporting products from development through manufacturing implementation Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Experience Background in manufacturing or production engineering environments Experience with process improvement and design optimization Ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate with senior stakeholders What You'll Bring Deep technical expertise combined with practical engineering judgment Ability to solve complex engineering challenges independently Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and mentoring others
