Location: 100% Remote (must reside in the U.S.)
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000. Base salary commensurate with experience.

Founded in 1968, SA originally developed and supported the U.S. Army recruiting system for 42 years and has since become an industry leader in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive information management applications for government regulatory agencies nationwide. SA has been delivering SaaS licensure and compliance solutions for nearly three decades, supporting state government agencies, licensing boards, and other regulatory operations in 22 states for nearly 800 different professions.
With SA’s launch of Evoke, our cloud‑native low‑code application platform designed for regulatory management, we are poised for significant growth.
About the Role As a Solution Product Owner, you will own solution requirements from discovery through delivery, independently configuring production‑ready applications using our SaaS low‑code platform. You will translate complex business needs into scalable system solutions, analyze processes, document requirements, and configure workflows, data models, actions, and user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead requirements discovery with customers and stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
Review and analyze RFP requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and product capabilities.
Gather and synthesize input from various sources to inform upcoming changes and enhancements to the software platform.
Develop a strong understanding of the platform, product features, and user community needs.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of product enhancements.
Participate in or lead design sessions with designers, software engineers, and quality assurance analysts.
Independently configure and deliver solutions using the low‑code platform.
Configure and maintain workflows, data models, business rules, and user experiences with an understanding of downstream impacts.
Troubleshoot and debug system errors, implementing solutions to resolve them.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3–4 years of hands‑on experience independently delivering business analysis and system configuration work in a production environment.
Ability to confidently challenge assumptions and recommend alternative solutions.
Facilitate discussions with minimal direction.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Comfortable working under pressure or strict deadlines.
Self‑starter with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and product delivery principles.
Knowledge of user story creation and backlog management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with business analysis tools.
Preferred
Experience with software development projects.
Experience working with low‑code platforms and workflow automation (e.g., MS Power Apps / Logic Apps).
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar agile tools.
Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Strong customer service orientation and experience working directly with customers.
