And our Pricing & Revenue Management team is providing fuel for that journey by ensuring that we maximize our ticket revenue on every single flight across our network – both domestically and internationally – while giving our customers various product offerings for their travel. By analyzing market trends and forecasting consumer demand, this team works hard to ensure we are selling the right number of tickets at the right price to optimize our revenue and run a profitable airline.
Key Responsibilities Be part of a team that provides quick‑turnaround technical solutions to business problems and analyses, as well as technical support and quality assurance for Revenue Management’s Systems. Assigned to business systems projects working across business organization lines. Responsibilities include the development, testing, and implementation of departmental data warehouse, reports and applications in support of the Revenue Management systems.
Develop new Pricing and RM applications/reports
Perform ad‑hoc analytical queries and create routine automation queries for various department projects
Write, debug, upgrade efficient queries, views, indexes, stored procedures and functions within SQL, AWS Redshift, and DynamoDB databases
Maintain departmental databases and supporting production jobs
Improve existing Pricing/RM systems and processes to maximize revenue
Establish data integrity reviews across multiple databases to ensure data synchronization across multiple systems
Coordinate, facilitate and consult with all United IT organization staff on applications architecture initiatives
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field or equivalent work experience
2+ years of professional experience in Database design, development and support
2+ years in data modeling tools and/or design methodologies
Experience with agile development methodology
Technical skills:
Database Management Systems (SQL Server, Redshift, DynamoDB, Teradata, Oracle, MySQL).
SQL programming skills, experience extracting and manipulating data from relational databases with advanced SQL, stored procedures
PowerBI reporting creation and maintenance
Non‑technical skills:
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven project organization skills, including project prioritization, planning, and organization
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Revenue Management or Pricing
5+ years of professional experience in Database design, development and support
5+ years in data modeling tools and/or design methodologies
Knowledge of Enterprise Scheduling Application such as Control M, Airflow, and BigPanda
.NET/Web Programming (C#, VB, AJAX, html)
Knowledge of Excel macros and VB script
Experience with version control software
Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud structure knowledge
Knowledge of Databricks

The base pay range for this role is $81,795.00 to $106,602.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job‑related factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long‑term incentive compensation awards.
