St. Louis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to become an integral part of our growing Service Department. Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers promptly and professionally at their vehicle to begin the service experience
- Install protective floor mats and seat covers to ensure vehicle cleanliness and care
- Accurately gather and input customer and vehicle information using Wi-Advisor or dealership software
- Conduct a detailed walk-around inspection with the customer, noting any visible concerns
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and document service needs clearly in the CRM
- Review and recommend scheduled maintenance services based on vehicle history and manufacturer guidelines
- Clearly explain the benefits of the complimentary multi-point inspection and what it includes
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure customer concerns are properly diagnosed
- Provide accurate estimates for recommended services and obtain customer approvals
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding vehicle status, additional findings, or delays
- Handle service follow-ups, including post-service check-ins to ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate with parts department to ensure timely availability of necessary components
- Process repair orders, warranty claims, and payment transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain an organized and clean service write-up area
- Uphold dealership standards for customer service, professionalism, and compliance
- Valid Driver's License
- 2+ years of experience in a Service Advisor role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
