About the Role At Barchester, we are offering a rare opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to join us in a new permanent position. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT projectsensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard. You will work closely with project sponsors and key stakeholders to define, shape, and deliver project objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the successful delivery of IT projects across Barchester's portfolio
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with clear success measures
Produce investment case papers to support project proposals
Maintain the change calendar for all planned service-impacting activities
Identify and manage demand on IT resources, ensuring team capacity is aligned
Support the IT Director in prioritising initiatives based on demand and business needs
Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders
Proactively manage project risks and escalate where appropriate through governance channels
Apply robust change control processes for any deviations from agreed objectives
