Summary TheRemoteSales Representative (RSR) for Aspen Surgical willvirtually landnew accounts, drive expansion at underpenetrated accounts and manage existing customer relationships.TheRSR willidentifyneeds and offer solutions with current or new products, build relationships to generate future sales, and close proposals/sales to grow the Aspen Surgical customer base.We do requireemployees toresidein the territory theyare responsible forcovering.
In thisposition,you’llhave the opportunity to
Sell a diverse portfolio of instruments, electrosurgicalcapitaland accessories and surgical,medicaland endoscopyproducts to hospitals, surgery centers, physician offices, distributors, and kit packers.Call oncurrent and prospective customers in your assigned customer portfolio.
Represent Aspen Surgical as an experienced and fully qualified sales professional in apredominantly virtualenvironment.
Working closely with the Commercial Leadership team,drivesales growth in the assigned territory to exceed personal sales quota.
Pursue new accounts byidentifyingprospect accounts, navigating keystakeholdersand qualifying interest.
Partner with distribution representatives and channel partners toidentifyopportunities and drive customer adoption.
Negotiate and close initial deal and expansion deals, with a focus on creating long-term relationships.
Identifyopportunities to expand into new categories and drive increased usage of existing categories.
Ensure successful trials and implementations virtually and support all in-service activitiesvirtually relativeto consumables and/or instruments withinkeycustomer base.
Manage stakeholders, train clinical teams, ensure utilizationofproductsand drive customer satisfaction.
Analyze customer product usage and target sales opportunities and prepare reports on activities.
Maintain consistent outreach and activity levels including outbound calls, virtual meetings, and follow-up communications to build pipeline and advance opportunities.
Conduct in-person customer visits when necessary.
Leverage digital technology and data to assess territories and strategically target accounts.
Oversee and update the sales pipeline using a CRM platform.
Utilize internal resources, including customer service, product managers, finance team, sales operations, qualityteamand operations team, to effectively present Aspen products to customers.
Whatyouneed tosucceed inthisposition
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a medical field, plus 2-4 years of sales experienceand ortraining with a demonstrated salesrecord;or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Abilityfortravelupto 10% domestically.
Excellent capability inutilizingMSOffice Suite (including Word,Exceland Power Point) as well as outlook.
Familiarity with surgery procedures and medical terminology is preferred.
Ability to speak in front of groups of peoplevirtuallytodeliverdynamic presentations.
Excellent communication skills to work with customers.
Demonstrated drive to achieve goals.
Creativity to helpidentifysales opportunities.
Strong ability to work well independently and take charge of situations.
Ability tolift upto 40 pounds to manage samples and products.
