Litigation Paralegal - Insurance defense
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Pay: $85,000-$100,000 + bonus
LHH is working with a law firm who's seeking an experienced Paralegal with 4+ years of litigation experience to support a Trial & Defense team .
Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and maintaining a busy litigation caseload
  • Drafting, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets to track case status
  • Assisting with document review, organization, and production, including preparation of privilege logs
  • Supporting depositions, including exhibit preparation and summarizing deposition transcripts
  • Performing general case maintenance, including organization of correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and related files
  • Monitoring court dockets and electronic filing notifications
  • Assisting attorneys through all phases of litigation (pre-trial, trial, and post-trial)
  • Preparing pleadings, discovery requests and responses, trial lists, and other litigation documents
  • Intake, organization, and management of large-volume document productions from clients, opposing parties, and third parties
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of litigation experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with court websites and electronic filing procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and priorities
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software and technologies
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity
Benefits
· Annual paralegal bonus program based on billable hours
  • Incentives start at 1,300 hours and increase up to 15% of base salary
  • Prorated for mid-year starts, reduced schedules, or approved leaves
