About
Key Responsibilities
- Support the plant by providing financial analysis, cost tracking, and reporting
- Maintain and update standard cost structures, including conducting ongoing variance analysis
- Perform annual cost roll-ups and support cost planning initiatives
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including KPIs, cost analysis, and performance metrics
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Partner with operations, R&D, and sales teams to develop cost estimates for new products
- Analyze inventory activity and support cycle counts and cost accuracy initiatives
- Complete month-end and year-end close responsibilities, including journal entries and reporting
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies within the facility
- Support audit and tax preparation activities, including required documentation
- Generate ad hoc reports and assist with special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost accounting, inventory management, or financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, formulas, reporting tools)
- Experience working with ERP systems
