A well-established, publicly traded organization is seeking a Staff Accountant - Cash Management to join its growing accounting team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys cash operations, reconciliations, and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
This position offers strong visibility within the accounting function, meaningful collaboration with regional finance teams, and long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve daily cash deposit postings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Verify deposits have proper documentation and audit trails
- Partner with operational teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Ensure intercompany cash transactions are properly recorded and reconciled
- Research and clear unapplied intercompany payments
- Address cash-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor outstanding and voided checks, ensuring timely resolution
- Maintain detailed daily activity documentation for internal tracking
- Generate and analyze reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- Prior experience in cash management, treasury, or cash application preferred
- Experience with Blackline highly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to independently research issues across multiple systems
- Experience with electronic remittance processing and cash posting systems is a plus

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
