About
This is a varied technical role suited to someone with a strong IT or systems background who enjoys problem solving and wants to develop specialist knowledge in integrated control-room and security systems.
You’ll work across software testing, customer support, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), integration work and system deployment, supporting both internal teams and live customer environments.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Testing new ViewScape software releases before deployment
* Supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities
* Investigating software, integration and customer-reported issues
* Working with developers to recreate faults and verify fixes
* Supporting customers and integrators remotely and on site
* Assisting with system configuration, commissioning and upgrades
* Working with Windows Server, SQL, virtual machines and IP networks
* Testing integrations with CCTV, VMS, access control and alarm systems
* Producing support notes, test records and technical documentation
*What We’re Looking For*
* Good knowledge of IT systems and IP networking
* Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop/server environments
* Logical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK
*Desirable Experience*
* Software or release testing
* SQL Server or virtualisation platforms
* CCTV, VMS, PSIM or integrated security systems
* Technical support for software or networked systems
