Shift Manager

As a Shift Manager at our Fulenwider Enterprises KFC and Taco Bell restaurants, you'll be the captain of the ship during your shift! Responsibilities
  • Supervise shift: You'll oversee all aspects of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Team leadership: Motivate and guide your team to deliver exceptional service. Foster a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.
  • Customer service: Interact with customers, take orders, and ensure their dining experience is memorable. Address any concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Food safety: Maintain high food safety standards. Monitor food preparation, storage, and handling to prevent any health risks.
  • Cash handling: Handle cash registers, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Inventory management: Keep track of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation.
  • Shift reports: Prepare shift reports, including sales, labor costs, and any incidents that occurred during your shift.
  • Training: Train new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Problem-solving: Handle unexpected situations, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Cleanliness: Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Promotions and specials: Assist in promoting new menu items, deals, and promotions to drive sales.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous restaurant or fast-food experience preferred.
  • Leadership skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Availability: Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food safety certification: Preferred but not required (can be obtained on the job).
