About Us
Urgent Animal Care of Arlington is a growing, AAHA-accredited urgent care hospital that opened in June 2023. We provide both call-ahead and walk-in services for non-life-threatening urgent cases, all within a collaborative and team-focused environment.
We’re looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our supportive, close-knit team.
What We Offer
- $33–$40/hour (based on experience)
- $3,000 sign-on bonus (for full time team mates)
- Flexible 4-day work week - Full-time
- One weekend shift per week - Full time
- Open to discussing a part time schedule or one day a week

Hospital Details
📍 249 N Glebe Rd, Arlington, VA 22203
Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 10 AM – 8 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 8 AM – 6 PM
- 2 full-time doctors + relief support
- 20–30 minute appointment times

- Pulse practice management software
- Zoetis/Abaxis in-house lab equipment
- Imagyst diagnostics
- Ultrasound
- Digital radiology
- AAHA-accredited standards
Types of Cases We See
We focus on non-life-threatening urgent care, including:
- Skin issues (itching, rashes, hotspots)
- Vomiting/diarrhea
- Ear and eye concerns
- Minor wounds and bite injuries
- Allergic reactions
- Urinary issues*
- Foreign body or toxin ingestion*
- End-of-life care & euthanasia
Severe cases are stabilized and transferred to emergency hospitals as needed.
