Job Title: Senior Construction QA/QC Engineer Location: St. Louis (On-site) Pay Rate: $55 – $60/hr on W2 Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension) Job Summary The Construction Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of construction processes, materials, and execution across assigned projects. This role focuses on QA/QC implementation, compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, while working closely with contractors and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement
QA/QC plans
for construction projects Conduct
site inspections and audits
to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and standards Review and approve
quality documentation
(inspection reports, test plans, material submittals) Collaborate with
project managers, engineers, and contractors
to resolve quality issues Perform
root cause analysis
and implement corrective/preventive actions Maintain
quality records, reports, and documentation Provide
training and guidance
on QA/QC processes to project teams Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial preferred) , Construction Management, or related field 10+ years
of QA/QC experience in the
construction industry Strong knowledge of
construction methods, materials, and quality standards Familiarity with
industry regulations and QA/QC best practices Experience with
quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) Ability to
read and interpret engineering drawings/models Strong
analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in
MS Office and quality management tools Ability to work
