Pay Rate: $46,800 starting salaryESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage assigned applications (at multiple Treasure Island and Prairie Island locations) including installation, implementation, documentation, maintaining, supporting and troubleshooting Conduct testing on systems and document results Collaborate with other IT staff and vendors to provide support Create, monitor and process user requests following established procedures Assist and mentor help desk staff and ensure help desk coverage Assist Applications Systems Analyst II with the formulation of project plans and management of small projects Assist in troubleshooting spreadsheets, databases and other office productivity tools Create and manage processes to ensure software reliability, security and adequate backup Provide independent and responsive on call services 24/7, as needed, and provide emergency support of computer systems when required Assist with user training KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge and Certification Required: 2-year degree in IT or related field and 1 year equivalent application support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience 1- year proven experience working with relational databases Preferred: Programming experience (SQL) Reporting Services use and report development experience Skills Required: Accurate and detail-oriented Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Advanced computer skills including software and software-related tools Advanced computer skills Microsoft Office applications and Windows environments Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Excellent problem solving skills Project management skills Abilities Required: Ability to manage time, tasks and priorities in an efficient manner Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to sit for long periods of time with occasional walking and standing Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects occasionally Must have the ability to independently lift 25+ pounds occasionally Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions WORKING ENVIRONMENT Work is performed primarily in the administration building but may include going onto the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke, and outdoors for guest or team member events Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays Extensive computer use
