Shift: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Capital Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab setting for RCES/RCIS. - Experience in a high acuity, high volume, fast paced environment.

Required Credentials: - RCES / RCIS required.

Unit Details: - Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating EP cases. - Performs right sided and left sided ablations, PM implants, ICD implants, BIVICD implants, BIVPM implants, laser lead extractions, CCM implants, left atrial appendage closure devices (Watchman, Amulet), and hybrid ablations. - 1 procedural patient per room; team consists of 3-4 members with a mix of RNs and cardiovascular specialists (RCES / RCIS). - Uses Philips (EP) and GE (Cath Lab) imaging systems and MacLab / CardioLab documentation.

10 days maximum time off

1 reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or the alternative certification RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI))
