Are you a Dental Assistant looking for a new opportunity? St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join their team!

PRN (minimum of 3 shifts/6 week period)

Shift times: 6:45am-3:00pm

Dental Assistant Certification required

Role Purpose

Responsible for performing dental procedures under dentist's direct supervision, in accordance with state laws. Have direct patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Assists dentists in providing direct chair side dental care of the patient.
  • Accurately documents all pertinent dental information in the patient chart/record
  • Ensures patient information is current in their chart/record.
  • Ensures patient care supplies and equipment are kept up to par level and maintained in working order.
  • Schedule patient appointments and coordinate dental care referrals as needed
Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience

Licenses & Certifications

  • Dental Assistant Certificate
Preferred Requirements

Education

  • Associate's Degree - Dentistry

Experience

  • 5-10 years
