Service Advisor

iTA is looking for a Full-Time Service Advisor/Writer with exemplary customer service skills to join our team in Baton Rouge LA, working a Monday - Friday shift (7a - 5p), no weekends!

Our ideal candidate will be a dependable, team-player with experience working within a diesel dealership environment. This is a hands-on position that requires leading by example.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greet customers promptly and courteously
• Work with customers to clearly translate repair needs to techs
• Write repair orders
• Schedule repairs to maximize work efficiency and quality of work performed
• Work with customers on scheduling repairs in the shop
• Check and review work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduled while exceeding the customer's expectations
• Organize daily work and assist in assigning jobs to mechanics
• Record keeping, filing, and GPS tracking
• Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Program
• Assist with rental equipment check-in/check-outs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Maintenance experience requested but not required.

• Detailed knowledge of shop industry.
