Certified Nursing Assistant

Provide professional level nursing care to patients under supervision of the medical and clinical staff.

This position requires a thorough understanding of facility's treatment program and philosophy, admission process, and criteria, working knowledge of various aspects of alcoholism, drug abuse, and dual diagnosis. This individual is a member of the mental health team providing professional level nursing care to patients under minimal supervision and consultation.

Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

This position is 6:30PM-7:00AM, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent and completed CNA Certification
• Knowledge/experience working with chemically dependent patients preferred.
• CPR/CPI (provided by facility)
• NC Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Must be 21 years of age based on company policy
• Knowledge of 12-Step programs.
• Ability to work with male and female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed population.
