Culinary Sales Specialist Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional culinary experience (e.g., chef, sous chef, or similar roles)
- Strong passion for food, industry trends, and innovation
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful client relationships
- Willingness and ability to travel 5075% nationwide
- Self-motivated and organized, comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Culinary Sales Specialist Preferred Background & Skills
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience is a plus
- Experience with live product demonstrations or culinary presentations
- Familiarity with CRM tools or territory management
Culinary Sales Specialist Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with chefs, foodservice operators, and large corporate clients including airlines and catering companies
- Conduct tastings and hands-on product demonstrations to current and prospective customers
- Collaborate closely with R&D to support the development of custom menu items
- Manage a personal schedule balancing office duties at the Compton facility and substantial regional/nationwide travel
- Present the company's products at customer sites, tradeshows, and industry events
- Support client success by understanding operational needs and offering tailored solutions
