Customer Sales Associate

Heritage Landscape Supply is seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual for a Counter Sales Customer Service role. This part-time position will focus on order entry at the sales counter with other related duties. The workweek will require some weekends, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.

• Entering orders at the point of sale using the company computer system
• Interacting with customers over the phone, via email, and in-person
• Greeting customers with a friendly attitude
• Basic computer and phone skills
• Communicating to customers the correct product for their application
• Communicating to customers how the material is priced and sold
• Creating sales orders
• Creating quotes to estimate the cost of projects, quantities of material needed from customer measurements
• Clear communication between manager, employees, and clients
• Being honest, courteous, and respectful to customers & employees at all times
• Maintaining and assisting to keep a clean work environment
• Learning basic knowledge of products available to customers
• Informing management of products/special order material customers need
• Assisting with inventory cycle counts
• Other related duties as assigned

• Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
• Experience with irrigation/landscaping products but not required
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening
