Job Description:
We are seeking a Design Engineer to design and develop electrical components, modules, and subsystems that support complex system-level products.
This role involves end-to-end ownership of the design lifecycles, from requirements definition through system integration, testing, and manufacturing handoff.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical system design, circuit analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, along with exposure to FPGA and PLC programming.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical parts, modules, and subsystems for complex systems
Own the complete product design lifecycle, including:
Requirements definition and specification
Feasibility studies, cost estimation, and scheduling
Conceptual and detailed design
Perform engineering analyses such as:
Circuit and timing analysis
Thermal and cooling analysis
Electrical load calculations
FPGA modeling (as applicable)
Utilize design tools such as:
OrCAD, PSpice
FPGA development tools (Xilinx / Altera / EPLD systems)
Create detailed schematics, drawings, and design review presentations
Support prototype development, including part procurement and validation
Lead system integration and prototype testing
Experience:
6-10 years of relevant experience in electrical design and development
Strong experience in:
Electrical and electronic system design
Circuit design and analysis
Hardware development lifecycle
Hands-on experience with: OrCAD, PSpice or similar tools
Experience with FPGA development (Xilinx / Altera)
Skills:
PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.)
Electrical/electronic system design
OrCAD/PSpice
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or equivalent experience related field
