As a
Principle Design Operations Manager , you’ll play a vital role in optimizing our product development lifecycle. You will be a key driver in ensuring our teams operate efficiently and that our products meet customer needs. Responsibilities
Process Optimization:
Actively create, improve, and document scalable, agile processes to ensure our design and product teams are aligned and operating at an excellent rhythm. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as the connective tissue between design, product, engineering, data, and executive leadership to facilitate communication, align on timelines, and identify opportunities for efficiency. Operational Excellence:
Partner with stakeholders to identify and resolve roadblocks, streamline workflows, and help design and product teams deliver more value. Feedback & Communication:
Communicate product updates and release timelines across the business. Gather product signals from customer-facing and external sources to inform product strategy. Data & Analytics:
Centralize and operationalize product data (customer behavior, sentiment, conversion) to inform roadmaps and strategy. Tool & System Administration:
Act as a subject matter expert for design tools (e.g., Jira, Figma, Asana), providing support and ensuring they enable efficient workflows. What You’ll Bring to Engine (Qualifications)
Experience:
6+ years of experience building out operations for design and/or product teams. Skills:
Exceptional prioritization, ability to distill complex processes, roll out changes iteratively, and keep projects on time and on task. Technical Acumen:
Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and agile methodologies. Bonus points for production support or program management experience. Executive Presence:
Experience presenting strategic plans to C-level executives. Mindset:

Our compensation packages are based on factors including experience and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Base Pay Range: $155,400—$215,000 USD. Perks & Benefits:
