PHYSICAL THERAPY AIDE

Under the direction of licensed physical therapists, provides assistance with and supports treatment modalities and physical therapy programs. Maintains supplies and equipment, inventory, contributes to regulatory readiness of department. Performs clerical and other duties related to routine operations. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others demonstrating concern for the patient's privacy, comfort, and emotional state. Treats patient with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an Accredited Exercise-Based Program Preferred

Experience

1 year Experience as a Physical Therapy Aide OR Graduate of an Accredited Exercise-Based Program Required

Licenses

Basic Life Support Required
