Outside Sales Representative

Base Pay + Uncapped Commission

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new delivery program in your area. You will play a crucial role in recruiting local businesses to join the Hub delivery partner program. As an integral team member, you'll collaborate with a Field Manager and other contractors to engage prospective businesses, present the program, and guide them through the application process. Your role will include driving referrals, coordinating recruitment events, and potentially earning commission for each partner conversion.

• Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns within a two-hour driving distance.
• Present and pitch the new program opportunity to generate interest and encourage applications.
• Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process while managing pipeline activities in Salesforce.
• Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting community recruitment events such as lunch and learns and town hall meetings.
• Collaborate with local influencers including chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
• Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis.

• 1-2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Experience in outside/field sales.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, with Salesforce experience preferred.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Prior experience in roles involving sales and negotiation.
• Professionalism and enthusiasm for teamwork with a high sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in field settings.
• Tech-savvy with experience using various systems and technologies.
• Ability to travel up to four hours round trip daily.

The position requires being on the road 3-5 days a week, with the remaining time spent working from home. Ideally based in Rocky Mount, VA, to effectively support both VA and NC stations. You will receive a phone reimbursement and mileage compensation.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Roanoke, VA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
