Job Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing customers to drive sales of ready-mix concrete products. This role involves identifying customer needs, providing product knowledge, preparing quotes, and ensuring timely delivery in coordination with dispatch and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and other customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within assigned territory.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals for ready-mix concrete products.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and plant personnel to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies.
  • Resolve customer issues and provide exceptional service to maintain satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CRM knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of, or ability to quickly understand, ready-mix concrete products, applications, and customer segments.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience in construction or building materials preferred.
  • Understanding of batching plants, logistics, and quality control in concrete production
