We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires a strong understanding of selling techniques, product knowledge, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The Sales Associate is expected to contribute to a positive shopping experience while maintaining store cleanliness and adhering to loss prevention protocols.

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with product selection, offering informed product knowledge.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point of sale (POS) system, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including stocking merchandise and merchandising displays.
• Utilize selling techniques to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by monitoring the sales floor and following security procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in managing tasks and priorities.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• General knowledge of retail sales principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Working knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with point of sale (POS) systems.

• Prior experience in a retail sales environment.
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques.
• Experience with loss prevention practices.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
