About
The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive assessments, identify therapy goals, and provide evidence-based interventions for adults with a range of conditions, including stroke, neurological disorders, respiratory compromise, voice disorders, and cognitive-linguistic impairments. You will educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, compensatory strategies, safe swallowing techniques, and communication supports, empowering them to participate actively in care and recovery. Accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and clear communication with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, social workers, and other team members are essential components of the position.
