At ISP School, located in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we provide specialist education for children aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs. Position OverviewContract: Part-time, 15 hours per week (2 days), term time only
Salary: £28,000 - £39,590 pro rata
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Battle
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

As a qualified teacher, you will:
- Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students.
- Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help students become responsible citizens.
- Motivate and inspire children to access learning and develop a passion for education.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children.
- Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), focusing on nurture for children with SEMH and ASC needs.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum, especially in Maths and/or English.
- Excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective approach to teaching.
- A good grasp of therapeutic educational approaches.
- The ability to adapt your teaching to meet individual student needs.
- A proven track record of delivering dynamic and engaging lessons.
The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by ISP School Battle.
