Working closely with healthcare providers and internal teams, the engineer partners with customers to deliver tailored implementations that align technology with real‑world clinical workflows. Responsibilities span system installation, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and transition to support, with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Through hands‑on technical expertise and collaborative problem‑solving, this role directly contributes to improved care delivery and long‑term customer success.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deploy and configure cardiology software and hardware solutions.
Perform installations, upgrades, system testing, benchmarking, validation, documentation, and final quality assurance to ensure systems meet functional, performance, and quality standards prior to customer delivery.
Collaborate with clients to design and implement optimal system configurations.
Conduct onsite asset reviews and ensure smooth handoff to support teams.
Manage hardware and parts lifecycle during implementations, including inventory tracking, replacements, issue resolution, and associated documentation.
Provide Tier 2 technical support during implementation, including advanced troubleshooting of hardware, software, operating systems, databases (SQL), and network‑related issues.
Analyze and evaluate technical issues that arise during implementation to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records and adhere to defined implementation processes.
Recommend best practices and provide management with feedback and ideas to support continuous process and product improvement.
Contribute as a valued member of a diverse and dynamic team.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Work schedule primarily runs Thursday through Tuesday to align with project needs.
Compliance with client-specific requirements (e.g., immunizations, PPE, drug-free workplace policy).
Reliable transportation for coverage area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school degree or equivalent
3–5 years of IT experience, preferably in healthcare or medical systems
Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, SQL Server, Active Directory, and networking protocols, with advanced troubleshooting experience across Microsoft operating systems and hardware
Strong understanding of network topology and common networking protocols used in clinical system environments
Experience supporting enterprise‑scale clinical or information systems within structured quality or compliance frameworks
Experience working within defined quality management or enterprise imaging systems
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment, including computers and smartphones.
Experience using medical test equipment and hand tools
Certifications such as MCSE, A+, or Security+ are a plus
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Professional manner, appearance, and discretion in engaging customers
Self‑guided and able to work independently
Willingness and eligibility to travel frequently, on short notice, including internationally
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Carry and monitor company phone, be available and responsive during scheduled and non-scheduled hours, except during rest and meal periods as required by applicable state law
Flexible in working hours as this position will require customer support during non-regular business hours, mandatory overtime on short notice, and/or weekend work as necessary
Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, and extended reach
Lift carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds, with assistance available
Regular grasping and repetitive hand movements
