About

Overview
ImmersiveTouch is a pioneer in immersive technologies for healthcare. We develop advanced AR/VR software that empowers clinicians to visualize, interact with, and understand complex medical scenarios in entirely new ways. Our clients include leading hospitals, medtech innovators, and academic institutions at the forefront of medical advancement. As a fast-growing, multidisciplinary team, we value engineers who are hands-on, curious, and excited to work across the full product lifecycle. This role offers a rare opportunity to help shape the technical foundation behind next-generation medical software, and make a direct impact on how care is delivered. What You’ll Do You’ll play a key role in establishing the systems, processes, and tools that connect development, QA, and product teams. This is a hybrid role combining manual testing, quality process, developer support, and internal tooling. You’ll help ensure our immersive software performs reliably across hardware platforms and real-world scenarios. Core Responsibilities
Software Testing & Validation
Run structured manual tests on AR/VR headsets, PCs, web applications, and mobile apps before each release Reproduce, diagnose, and document bugs across different hardware and software configurations Validate bug fixes and regression scenarios in coordination with the development team Own the test matrix across supported platforms and headset models Maintain and organize physical test environments, such as headsets, test PCs, configuration scripts, to ensure consistent validation Test Planning & Quality Process
Define and maintain test cases, checklists, and device matrices for key product workflows Contribute to early-stage testing by running exploratory tests and validating in-progress features Improve quality and repeatability through documentation standards, input capture tools, screenshot diff utilities, etc. Refine bug triage workflows and streamline issue resolution cycles Maintain a centralized knowledge base of test workflows, system behaviors, known issues, and platform differences Product-Facing Testing & Feedback
Collaborate with the product team to clarify testable acceptance criteria and edge cases Provide structured testing feedback to improve feature clarity and usability Proactively raise UI/UX concerns based on hands-on testing and interaction edge cases Document recurring issues, edge cases, and user pain points discovered during testing to inform future development planning Build, Tooling & Development Support
Manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and integrate static analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube) Standardize versioning, changelogs, and release documentation Implement traceability between builds, commits, and feature flags to support validation and customer support Write scripts, tools, or small Unity modules to integrate with 3rd-party SDKs (e.g., analytics, licensing, authentication) Maintain and expand analytics instrumentation and help define meaningful product metrics Design internal dashboards or reports to surface trends in usage, bugs, or device configurations Collaborate with developers to improve logging, telemetry, and test visibility Prototype lightweight diagnostic tools (e.g., replay harnesses, input loggers, state viewers) to assist testing What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer with a passion for product quality and immersive technology. You don’t need to check every box, but the ideal candidate brings many of the following: 3+ years of experience in QA, test engineering, build automation, or developer tooling Experience performing manual QA in complex environments (desktop, mobile, or immersive software) Strong written communication, especially in bug reports, test plans, and edge case documentation Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) Experience with Unity build workflows and cross-platform deployment Exposure to analytics instrumentation and tools like Kibana, Elasticsearch, or similar Ability to prototype small internal tools for test support, automation, or diagnostics Collaborative mindset, especially in triaging bugs, testing in progress features, and supporting product and development teams Who You Are
You take pride in delivering high-quality software, even in fast-moving, ambiguous environments You enjoy troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and love digging into edge cases You’re proactive, solving problems before they reach users and improving systems as you go You communicate clearly and work well with both technical and non-technical teammates You’re adaptable, curious, and eager to learn new tools, platforms, and workflows, especially in 3D/immersive systems Nice to Have
Familiarity with Unity development and build workflows Familiarity with Unity scripting (C#) or light front-end development (HTML/JS) Exposure to surgical, simulation, or high-fidelity interactive applications Experience in early-stage or startup teams where you wore multiple hats Knowledge of telemetry, observability, and structured logging best practices Compensation and Benefits
