I amlooking for experienced B2B SaaS sales leaderstojoin a German start-up that works on modernizing and digitalizing automotivemanufacturing as a Head of Software Sales. The company creates an engineering intelligence platform that helpsdevelop, produce and maintain highly complex mechatronic products, such as passenger cars or aircraft, more efficiently and sustainably.

For this role, you can be located either in Berlin or in the south of Germany (Bavaria orBaden-Württemberg).

You are a committed leader with a lot of energy, passion and initiative to lead their software sales team. The team focuses on acquiring new business accounts as well asgrowing existing accounts.

As Head of Software Sales, your focus will beon team building, enablement and execution.

In particular, you will:

  • Enable and develop your team to actively and independently acquire and identify new opportunities for the sales pipeline.
  • Use your experience withcommon qualification frameworks such as MEDDICC, Sandler or SPIN to implement this expertise in your sales team in order to coach them sustainably and thus prepare them as best as possible for complex negotiation situations.
  • Be part of the hiring team for new account executives and conduct interviews with new candidates.
  • Become an expert in the company'ssoftware products and promote them in your sales network.
  • Be responsible for scaling your sales areas, strategic planning and their implementation and share your findings in weekly forecast meetings with management and your team.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • 2+ years of experience as a manager and know different ways to motivate a team.
  • Ability to acquire customers and lead them successfully through complex sales processes.
  • Experience with complex software or platform solutions and can use this knowledge to effectively argue for the company'sSaaS solution in sales talks.
  • You speak fluent German and English.
  • Ideally, familiarity with well-known accounts from the automotive, aerospace & defense, heavy equipment or machinery sectors.
