Nursery Manager

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a joyful learning environment? We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our vibrant team at Footsteps Nursery Fradley. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday at a competitive rate of £14.06 per hour .

Our nursery is housed in a beautifully converted barn, nestled in a stunning rural setting surrounded by fields. We believe in the power of outdoor play, featuring expansive outdoor areas and a bespoke forest school facility where children can explore, learn, and grow.

At Footsteps Nursery, we prioritize creating a happy, home-like environment for children aged 0 to 5 years. Our philosophy centers on ensuring that every child feels happy, safe, and healthy while engaging in stimulating educational experiences. We work closely with parents to tailor our services to meet their needs.

As a valued member of our team, you will:

• Lead the care and development of children aged 3 months to 1 year.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports secure attachments.
• Guide and mentor team members, identifying their training needs.
• Utilize EyLog/EyMan to track progress and maintain accurate records.
• Build strong relationships with parents and keep them informed.
• Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding standards.
• Promote outdoor learning and overall child development.
• Model professionalism and foster a respectful team culture.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification - Essential
• Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years - Essential
• Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
• Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
