At Waukesha Bearings , a proud member of Dover Precision Components , we invite you to be part of a dynamic and fully integrated Computer Aided Manufacturing facility. Here, you will utilize cutting-edge CNC machining centers for turning, milling, and grinding operations, crafting customized designs from a variety of materials including steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and bronze.

Our facility boasts a diverse range of multi-axis machine tools, lathes, mills, grinders, and more. You’ll be working on a high-mix of customized fluid-film bearings, seals, and isolators, serving customers across Europe and beyond. This is your chance to make a real impact in the world of turbo and industrial machinery!

What We Offer

Annual Salaries: Enjoy a 37-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with permanent employment contracts.

  • £44,919.62 for a weekly rotating shift pattern of early (6am) and backshifts (2pm)
  • £52,452.37 for night shift work

* These rates include shift premiums. Plus, enjoy additional benefits such as:

Your Responsibilities

As a Skilled CNC Operator, you will:

  • Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining requirements
  • Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system
  • Interpret work instructions and select the proper tooling for operations
  • Calculate feeds and speeds for various materials
  • Read, understand, edit, or write complete programs
  • Understand the capabilities of tooling and machinery
  • Perform quality inspections and apply Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Visually inspect final components and prepare them for shipment
  • Use precision measuring instruments for quality verification
  • Identify components post-assembly
