Summary:
The Construction PM supports new construction and expansion initiatives by managing the application and technology components required for new hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings, and unit expansions. This role does not manage physical construction activities; instead, it ensures all software, systems, and application builds needed for new facilities are delivered on time and within budget.
The PM will coordinate work across 30+ application, infrastructure, and clinical teams, requiring exceptional communication, organization, and the ability to learn Client's processes quickly.
Role Expectations:
Drive projects forward to meet aggressive deadlines and budgets.
Manage and track project deliverables using ServiceNow PPM, Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
Follow Client's PMO processes based on PMI standards.
Manage resource plans within ServiceNow.
Create project budgets and manage ongoing financial tracking.
Lead project meetings, document minutes, assign tasks, and coordinate follow-up actions.
Hold resources accountable to deadlines and deliverables.
Identify risks/issues and drive mitigation and resolution.
Provide regular updates to portfolio leaders, tower leaders, and stakeholders.
Adapt communication to various audiences from technical teams to senior leadership.
Manage subprojects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Develop and maintain project documentation including:
Project charters
RACIs
Communication plans
Test plans
Project schedules
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum 10 years of IT Project Management experience (Program Management experience a plus)
At least 3 years of experience in healthcare.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage large teams.
Ability to adapt quickly in a highly process-oriented environment.
Experience driving complex projects with multiple dependencies.
Experience working within regulatory, clinical, or enterprise-level environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Program Management Experience (at least 3 years)
Experience with Epic or Cerner implementations (Client's primary EHRs).
Experience with Google Workspace tools.
Experience with ServiceNow PPM.
Experience with EMR/application builds supporting new construction projects for:
Hospitals
Unit expansions
Medical office buildings
New clinics
Languages
