About UsLocated in a friendly and welcoming environment, our nursery caters to children aged 0-5 years, along with an out-of-school club for children up to 12 years old. With an Ofsted rating of GOOD, we strive for excellence every day. You’ll have the opportunity to work with either our youngest learners (0-3 years) or support preschool and out-of-school club children (3-12 years), depending on your strengths and interests.
Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to each child's age and development stage.
- Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, promoting these practices daily.
- Support the smooth running of the nursery, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
- Build strong, professional relationships and address any concerns in line with company policies.
- Facilitate a key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
- Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and developments.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (essential).
- Fluency in written and spoken English (essential).
- Over 1 year of experience in Early Years (desirable).
- Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements (desirable).
