About

LifeBridge Health is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team and support high-quality patient care across our continuum of services. In this role, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and an interdisciplinary care team to provide direct patient care in alignment with LifeBridge Health’s mission of compassionate, community-focused healthcare. The Physician Assistant will obtain comprehensive patient histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, formulate differential diagnoses, and develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans under the supervision of an attending physician and in accordance with state and institutional regulations. You will be responsible for managing both acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications as authorized, providing patient and family education, and coordinating follow-up care to ensure continuity and optimal outcomes.
You will practice in a fast-paced clinical environment where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are strongly valued. Responsibilities include documenting all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record, participating in multidisciplinary rounds, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives that enhance patient experience and clinical effectiveness. The Physician Assistant will also participate in care transitions, discharge planning, and communication with primary care and specialty providers. You may assist in minor procedures, perform wound care, and support pre- and post-operative management depending on departmental needs and your clinical background.
LifeBridge Health encourages participation in professional development, including ongoing education, skills enhancement, and involvement in performance improvement projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to serving diverse communities. This position offers the opportunity to build a long-term career within an organization that supports professional growth, leadership development, and innovation in care delivery. By joining LifeBridge Health, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to improving health, promoting well-being, and advancing the standard of care for patients throughout Maryland.
