Photonics Manager

We are looking for a talented professional to manage our photonics business.

Your Role

You will be responsible for managing strategic projects in the field of photonics and optics, including digital product development, procurement, and quality management.
You will work closely with global suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of electronic, electro-mechanical, and optical components.
Your goal will be to analyze market trends and develop strategies to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
To achieve this, you will need to collaborate with various teams, such as category management, R&D, engineering, logistics, and disposition.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and implementing effective problem-solving methods.

Your Profile

A degree in a technical or scientific field, preferably with a focus on electronics, mechatronics, or information technology.
Several years of experience in supply chain management, quality management, and/or project leadership for electronic components, as well as international collaboration with global suppliers.
Proficiency in quality management methodologies, such as FMEA, problem-solving, 8D expert, and Six-Sigma, as well as audit training according to ISO9001 or equivalent.
Fluent German and English language skills, as well as willingness to travel internationally. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
