Project Manager (PMP certified)
for an On-Site (1 day remote) opportunity in the Columbia, SC area. Candidate will lead and coordinate enterprise-level IT projects from planning through completion, ensuring successful delivery of technology initiatives while collaborating with technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders. Required Qualifications of the IT Project Manager: • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies. • 5+ years of experience serving as a Project Manager overseeing project planning, timelines, and deliverables • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams • Experience developing and managing project budgets, including cost tracking and reporting • Strong experience defining project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and risks • Ability to manage multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through completion • Experience facilitating project meetings, documenting action items, and communicating status updates to stakeholders • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams • Experience monitoring project progress including milestones, risks, issues, and task assignments • Experience maintaining project documentation and supporting project closeout activities including lessons learned Preferred Skills/Experience of the IT Project Manager: • Experience managing system modernization or large-scale technology initiatives • Experience working within government or public sector environments • Experience collaborating with external vendors or third-party partners • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project • Active PMP certification Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager: •
Lead and manage assigned IT projects from initiation through completion while coordinating with stakeholders to achieve project objectives • Work with project teams to develop and document project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and deliverables • Establish regular project meetings and maintain project cadence to ensure initiatives remain on schedule and within budget • Track milestones, risks, issues, and action items while ensuring accountability across the project team and escalating concerns when necessary • Prepare project documentation, status reports, and presentation materials for leadership and stakeholder meetings • Ensure projects are closed out in an organized manner, including final documentation and lessons learned Work Location:
