At Waukesha Bearings , a proud member of Dover Precision Components , we’re on the lookout for a talented Skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. Here, you’ll be immersed in a cutting-edge Computer Aided Manufacturing facility, where you’ll utilize state-of-the-art CNC machining centers for turning, milling, and grinding operations. Your work will help us create customized designs from a variety of materials, including steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and bronze.
Our facility boasts a diverse range of multi-axis machine tools, lathes, mills, grinders, and more. You’ll be tackling a high-mix workload of customized fluid-film bearings, seals, and isolators, serving customers across Europe and beyond!
What We OfferAnnual Salaries: Enjoy a 37-hour work week , Monday to Friday, with permanent employment contracts.
- £44,919.62 for a weekly rotating shift pattern of early (6am) and backshifts (2pm)
- £52,452.37 for night shift work
* These rates include a shift premium. Plus, enjoy additional benefits such as:

As a Skilled CNC Operator, you will:
- Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining requirements
- Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system
- Interpret work instructions and select appropriate tooling
- Calculate feeds and speeds for various materials
- Read, understand, and edit complete programs
- Utilize precision measuring instruments for quality inspections
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance productivity
- Perform final inspections and boxing of parts for shipment
