Position: Teacher

Contract: Part-time, 15 hours per week (2 days), term time only

Salary: £28,000 - £39,590 pro rata

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Battle

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

At ISP School, nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we specialize in providing education for 7-18-year-olds facing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs. We are on the lookout for an inspirational qualified teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. If you have experience working across Key Stages 3 & 4 and are ready to guide students with a solid understanding of the National Curriculum—especially in Functional Skills Maths and/or English—this is the opportunity for you!

• Teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students.
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help students become responsible citizens.
• Inspire a love of learning and motivate students to thrive.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Successful teaching experience.
• Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly with SEMH and ASC needs.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, especially in Maths or English.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• A reflective practitioner with a good understanding of therapeutic educational approaches.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Proven track record of delivering dynamic and engaging lessons.
