About
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing general dentistry practice. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on dental assisting experience and be confident supporting a wide range of restorative, implant, and endodontic procedures in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
This position requires exceptional clinical skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude toward patient care and office efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Chairside assisting for general dentistry procedures
- Assist with endodontic procedures and implant surgeries
- Fabricate temporary crowns and bridges
- Take dental impressions and pour models accurately
- Capture high-quality digital x-rays and CBCT scans
- Maintain sterilization protocols and operatory cleanliness
- Manage and order dental supplies and inventory
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures
- Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
- Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented office culture
- Minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Experience with Open Dental practice management software
- Experience in a general dentistry setting required
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
- Proficiency with digital radiography and CBCT imaging
- Experience assisting with implant and endodontic procedures
- Ability to fabricate temporaries and take accurate impressions
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical environment
- Dental Assisting certification and radiology certification
- Familiarity with intraoral scanners and digital workflows
