All interested applicants must have experience teaching swim classes to groups of children and hold current Royal Life certifications including Bronze Cross, Instructors and NLS or be willing to re-certify before the start of camp.
Dates of employment are from June 17th to August 12th. We provide transportation to and from camp, and provide room and board as part of the contract.
Responsibilities include teaching swimming lessons during instructional periods and lifeguarding during free swim periods. You will also be responsible for the management of other lifeguards on our swim team and be responsible for the day to day operations of the program.
Swim classes are taught to children ranging in age from 7-16 who attend New Moon for periods ranging from 2 to 7 weeks.
Swim Instruction is just one of many activity areas offered at camp. During your free time you can take advantage of: waterskiing, sailing canoeing, tennis, arts and crafts, a ropes course and more!
